In our capitalist society everything has a monetary value including female beauty. Camgirls make their money by exploiting addictive behaviour of men who pay tokens for a variety of reasons including wanting to see the girls naked and getting dopamine hits when the girls respond to them personally. This is why Camgirls often use the term ‘whale’. Cam sites are like casinos – they make the majority of their profits by exploiting the addictions of a small minority of customers.
As Hope’s father was one of the Earth’s Original Vampires her blood has been tainted with vampire dark magic since birth. As a result she has some vampiric traits including an immortal life, the ability to resurrect those who have died, heightened senses and the ability to amplify her strength and magic. She also has the ability to shapeshift into a powerful wolf form.
Unlike most of the other students at the Salvatore School, Hope is reluctant to forge any meaningful connections or friendships and prefers isolation as she feels it will provide her with the least heartbreak in life. However, she has developed her father’s trait of being obsessed with protecting those she considers family. This is particularly apparent in her relationship with Landon as she seems preoccupied with ensuring that he stays safe.
Despite her isolation, Hope is still a well rounded girl with a wide range of skills and hobbies. She is an expert martial artist with a knack for hand to hand combat. She is also fluent in English, Latin (as taught by the spells at the Salvatore School), Portuguese and can speak a little French thanks to Josie Saltzman. She is capable of pyrokinesis and can inadvertently unleash a wave of transparent flamy blue energy as an omnidirectional shockwave which has been strong enough to knock out witches, vampires and werewolves or send furniture flying.
