A cam girl can play with her viewers in a number of ways, from flirting or telling dirty stories to just plain talking. She can also engage in erotic activities that are less obvious. For example, one model likes to use a deck of cards that she pulls each time she gets tipped a certain amount. As a result, she says that once she’s established a connection with a client she can get a read on them quickly, an instinct she developed over her years as a cam model. This means she can know if a viewer is looking for a hookup or just wants to be comforted and understood. It’s a part of the job that many cam models find empowering. As with all jobs that involve client-facing interaction, though, it’s not without its challenges.
