Some cam girls make this their only job, and the majority of profits are made from exploiting addictive behaviour (similar to how gaming companies make the majority of their money from microtransactions). If you don’t tip a girl then you are a cheap motherfucking voyeur who is giving voyeruism a bad name.
However – this is not an argument for why we should tolerate abusive language in a chat room that is a delimited commercial space. The point is that it shouldn’t be allowed to be directed at real people in a real world. You can’t love someone who is just a picture, and you can’t touch them or see them in person. The only way to feel their attention is to buy it, and that feeling of power is enhanced when done in front of other men.
