Film focuses on a cam girl that works for a sex and erotic chat website. She desperately tries to grow her popularity in order to make it into the top 50 girls (and presumably get more money). She even goes as far as faking her death to try and climb up that ladder. Her efforts pay off as a copy of her is created and she starts getting hounded for more money by adoring fans that think she is the real thing.
She soon realizes she needs to start making more private sessions and this is where things begin to get a little messy. Guys who go into private sessions with her often say some pretty nasty stuff. This is not only a normal part of the industry but also a key to success. Cam models are selling a highly addictive product and the vast majority of their profits are made from exploiting this addictive behaviour.
