For some, camming is a fun side hustle, something that allows them to pay the bills and maybe have a little sex on the weekends. For others, it is their main source of income and a full-time career that they’re proud of. But the profession isn’t without its critics, with many assuming it’s nothing more than exploitation of women.
The job requires a lot of energy and focus, particularly when starting out. Mazzei explains that she spends most of her time on creating fresh show ideas, and trying to come up with new ways to please her regulars. She also spends a significant amount of time answering private messages and emails, acting as a de facto therapist for her clients.
She also talks about how the work is mentally taxing, especially when dealing with abusive or injurious comments. But as a female performer, Mazzei says she can’t really avoid these experiences, because “it’s just part of the job.”
As for the rest of her career goals, Mazzei is realistic and knows that building a stable stream of revenue will take time. But she’s determined to do what she can to achieve success.
