In Camgirl, Mazzei talks about stripping, masturbating and playing games on camera for money. She also talks about working as a librarian, a web designer and English teacher, an ice cream scooper, a busboy and a vintage clothing buyer, trying each job to find “the one” that would be her thing, but never keeping any of them for more than a few months.
It may take a little time to get used to, but once you’re accustomed to the taboo subject matter, this memoir is refreshingly written with breezy honesty and whip-smart humor.
